The Preparation

This is one of my favorite parts of the day. It’s when there’s giddy anxiety, quiet moments, happy moments and “let’s DO this!” moments. To find out what time to start getting ready, I strongly encourage you to talk to your hair and makeup artist. What time they come depends on how they work, and how many people he or she will be doing. You will also want to consider if you are having a first look and portraits before the ceremony. I will arrive approximately 2 hours before you depart for either your first look or your ceremony.

I love photographing the details as they are the additions to your story and should be photographed beautifully. What details you may ask? Good question. The invitation suite, the engagement and wedding rings, jewelry, shoes, heirlooms, something borrowed, something blue, letters, purses etc. If you aren’t sure of something, just ask.
